A grounding retreat for women to cozy into the darkness and reconnect with your wild instinct
a weekend where nothing is required of you. the only intention is to do what winter was always supposed to be for: cozing down, sleeping in, embracing the darkness, being a little bit feral, and descending into your depths. think slow movement with your fluffy socks on and your eyes closed, drumming and chanting by candlelight, coffee in bed while watching the steely sea through the window, evenings in the hot tub, steamy hot bowls of curry and stew to fill your belly with, and sauna and silent disco on the beach as you emerge from your cave ready to embrace the final weeks of winter feeling nourished, grounded, and embodied.

Includes: abundant, healthy food: arrival snacks and dinner on Friday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday; breakfast and departure snacks or brunch on Sunday. Slow, enriching movement, candlelight chanting and breathwork, beach silent disco, guided fascia release, sea-view sauna experience, residential hot tub, and plenty of free time to rest, slow down, catch up with yourself, and bring in the New Year with your feet firmly on the ground.

THE VENUE
Join us in our hometown at this special 1850s seaside venue in St Leonards-on-Sea in East Sussex, UK, less than 2 hours from London.
The exquisite 6-storey townhouse set facing the English Channel, is comprised of beautiful, open shared areas, cosy nooks for hermitting, sea-facing lounge, and exceptional bedrooms, all with ensuites. In the heart of the creative little town of St Leonards with its renowned restaurants and independent shops, and just a promenade-stroll away from the historic Hastings Old Town. Every room at the front of the house has uninterrupted views of the sea and you can open the front door during your free time and step right out onto the shingle beach to get a hit of salty air and maybe have a shriek into the ocean.
THE CAVE IS FOR YOU IF:

You want to reclaim this winter as a time for slowing down, going inwards, returning to your roots, and nourishing yourself with hot food, kindred company, and the elements.

The Christmas and New Year period can be a full-on, busy vortex that often has you lose your centre, and you want to set aside intentional time to come back to yourself after this year's festivities.

You love a brisk cold sea dip (or you're comfortable opting out if you know this is not for you!), a silent disco of 90s EDM, a seaside sauna, and a little bit of weird, woo-woo, witchy-type somatics AND you love to hermit, own your quiet time, and hide away with a hot chocolate and a good book.

You want a weekend where nothing is required of you. The Cave offers plenty of space and free time and any and all planned activities are entirely optional, so you can show up as and when you like. The only work required of you will be deciding which channel to dance to during the beach silent disco: 90s EDM, Britpop, or 80s hairbands

You're not into energetics, somatics, the sea and sky, honouring your body as an oracle, or witchy, woo-woo, weird spiritual sh*t

Prices and Booking
Choose your room from the list below and click the button to pay a 300.00 GBP non-refundable deposit and secure your place. The remaining balance is payable by 14 December, 2027
Rooms are allocated on a first come first serve basis and we will endeavour to keep room availability up-to-date.
Rooms are situated on the upper floors of the house, accessed by one or more staircases.
Cancellation: Please read our booking policy before you purchase your ticket and consider taking out cancellation insurance as we cannot offer refunds or transfers outside of our standard policy.

All bedrooms are ensuite and include luxury linen, REN toiletries, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and a smart TV with Netflix. Please note that some items of decor may differ from what's shown in the photographs.
